A moving ceramic work has bagged its creator a coveted ceramic prize.
Westmere artist Louise Rive won the 2014 Premier Portage Award and $15,000 for her work The Space Between.
The award was presented to her by international judge Takeshi Yasuda last night at Titirangi’s newly opened Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery, formerly Lopdell House Gallery.
