City goes west as women re­group

The foot­ball ri­valry heats up once again to­mor­row as Auck­land City FC head west to Fred Tay­lor Park to face Waitakere United in their ASB Premier­ship clash.

Both teams have yet to lose in the early stages of the reg­u­lar sea­son and City will be feel­ing the pres­sure to per­form after hold­ing on for a 3-2 win against Hawke’s Bay last Satur­day.

In the ASB Women’s League, Auck­land will look to bury the demons from their 3-0 loss to Main­land Pride in round four.

They head to QBE Sta­dium to play North­ern Foot­ball on Sun­day, Novem­ber 9.

Weapon: Auck­land will need Emil­iano Tade to be at his best against Waitakere United.
