After 25 years in Parnell the Warwick Henderson Gallery is moving to the centre of Newmarket’s retail hub. ‘‘An opportunity came up with a space in the heart of Newmarket with a great window overlooking Broadway,’’ gallery owner Warwick Henderson says. The gallery is looking at promoting new artists in 2015, including Rob Tucker who recently gained representation with a gallery based in London and New York. Shows by Tyrone Layne, Chris Pole and Robyn Kahukiwa are three of the first shows from December. The gallery opens with an exhibition by Layne, named This is Auckland. The preview is on November 25 from 5.30pm till 7pm, and the exhibition runs until December 13 at 255 Broadway. Visit warwickhenderson.co.nz.
