LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Auckland City Harbour News - - OPINION -

leadership shown by Whangarei?

Not having tobacco in our community would be so massively beneficial to the health of our tamariki, our whanau, all New Zealand’s future.

Apparently we have a goal in New Zealand to be smokefree by 2025, if so we need more councils to show their leadership and support such a goal, we need more leadership locally and nationally to show the rest of the world how little Aotearoa can deal with an industry that is killing us.

A co-ordinated local government response would be a great step in the right direction – imagine all councils across the country asking for the same thing – ending the ability for a deadly product to be sold to our people.
