Auckland City Harbour News - - NEWS -

Have your say on the future of Grey Lynn Park. A draft plan is in the works to provide a long-term vision for future developments to the park and the Waitemata Local Board is gathering feedback. The plan includes concept designs of upgrades to both playgrounds, a new picnic area, the introduction of a greenway section, demolition of the old athletics clubrooms and a new multifunctional building to house the Richmond Rovers clubrooms and public toilets. The removal of the rugby league club’s existing clubrooms is subject to approval, funding and construction of the new multi-use facility. A stall with information about the plans will be present during the Grey Lynn Park Festival on November 29 from 10am. Go to shapeauck to complete the online survey by December 12 at 5pm.
