Childhood arthritis will be discussed at a seminar on March 24. Paediatric rheumatology Professor Helen Foster, visiting from Newcastle University, will be the key speaker at the talk presented by Arthritis New Zealand. Foster led the team that developed a new tool for the examination of joints, now taught as a clinical skill to medical students and used by doctors worldwide when diagnosing arthritis in children. The free seminar will be held from 7pm till 9pm at the Fickling Convention Centre’s Lynfield Room, 546 Mt Albert Rd, Three Kings. Registration is essential.
