‘Go to a cafe!’

Auckland City Harbour News - - NEWS -

I am usually proud to be a ‘‘Grey Lynnian’’. We are a diverse suburb, with many talents and a great sense of community.

Not so on Anzac Day at the Grey Lynn RSA service. To all those people who chatted through proceedings, if that is what you came for, go to a cafe!

Granted the loud speaker system was poor, but if you had observed manners and a respectful silence, maybe we could have heard something.

Rather than get any more angry, I went home early and listened to the Wellington memorial service where the tui song could be heard in the background, the crowd was so quiet.
