An attack on aman in Auckland’s CBD could have ended in death, police say. The attack happened on Elliot Street in the city on September 4 around 3.30am. The 18-year-old man was punched in the face and dropped to the ground where he lost consciousness. He suffered from a fractured skull and concussion. The attacker was described as 1.8m tall, medium to athletic build, aged in his early 20s, and wearing a long sleeved red checked shirt.
