RUN IN THE DARK
Auckland will host the first in a series of runs that will take place across the world from 8pm on November 16. Run the Dark is a charity which raises money for research into finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. Runners slip on flashing armbands and hit the pavement around the Viaduct, the first of around 25,000 people in more than 50 cities around the world who will start running as the sun sets in their city. It has both 5km and 10km options available. Entry is $40 including a flashing armband. Visit www.runinthedark.org for more information.
