The Ben & Jerry’s Ope­nair Cinema is back on in Auck­land this sum­mer fol­low­ing a suc­cess­ful in­au­gu­ral se­ries last year.

And Auck­land City Har­bour News has two dou­ble passes to giveaway to our read­ers.

Auck­lan­ders once again have the chance to en­joy a sea­son of movies, de­li­cious ice-cream and sun­sets un­til March 5.

If you’re look­ing for a ro­man­tic, sun­set-filled evening for date night, drama and laughs for a girl’s night out, or some fam­ily fun, choose a film and head along to West­ern Springs Quarry, near Auck­land Zoo.

This sum­mer’s movie sea­son fea­tures quirky come­dies, award­win­ning fea­tures, block­busters and cult clas­sics, and it’s open Tues­days through to Sun­days.

Moana, Lion, Hid­den Fig­ures,

Star Wars: Rogue One, and La La Land are just some of the films on dis­play this month.

Ticket prices vary with adults start­ing at $16 online and con­ces­sions start­ing at $12 - ticket sales are also avail­able at the gate.

Last year more than 160,000 scoops of ice-cream were served and it’s all avail­able again, along with a great se­lec­tion of food and bev­er­ages.
