For the first time in 125 years, Home and Family Counselling are hosting a high-profile, black-tie fundraising event on August 29. The event will be held in the Grand Foyer of Auckland Museum with an auction aiming to raise more than $40,000 for after-hours counselling for low income families. Raising funds will ensure services are accessible for those in need of support so they can access the help they want. The event also aims to attract new supporters and increase brand profile. Musicians such as former Split Enz bassist Mike Chunn and Play It Strange will be at the event with more to be announced in the coming days.
