What does a ‘‘real New Zealan­der’’ look like? How do we con­front our priv­i­lege when we can’t see it? These ques­tions and more will be asked at Auck­land Museum’s new LATE se­ries, a pop­u­lar speaker se­ries fea­tur­ing per­for­mances and thought­pro­vok­ing panel dis­cus­sions. The first of this year’s LATE at the Museum will be held on Au­gust 9 and will look at im­mi­gra­tion in New Zealand this elec­tion year. Ti­tled Home Sweet Home, it will in­clude a panel of guests star­ing writer and broad­caster Roseanne Liang, re­searcher and Maori spokesper­son for Mi­grants and Refugee Rights Campaign Arama Rata and more.
