Flow­ers: Alyssum, ager­a­tum, coleus, gyp­sophila, Ice­land poppy, lark­spur, linaria, lupin, mignonette, pansy, por­tu­laca, stock, salvias and sun­flow­ers. Don’t plant shrubs un­til it’s cooler. Vegeta­bles: Ar­ti­chokes, beans, beetroot, bok choy, broc­coli, cab­bage, car­rots, cau­li­flower, cel­ery, chicory, corn, let­tuce (not if the tem­per­a­ture is over 30ºC, as it may not ger­mi­nate), Jerusalem ar­ti­chokes, mel­ons, okra, pars­ley, in­clud­ing Ital­ian pars­ley, parsnip, pump­kins (fast-ma­tur­ing bush ones), radish, sil­ver­beet and zuc­chini.
