Australian Women’s Weekly NZ - - YOUR LETTERS - DOREEN AKRIGG

I always read The Australian Women’s Weekly thoroughly and enjoy the variety of articles. There is no gossip about who is divorcing who and which pop singer is having a problem with another, or who is moving in with whoever and who has a suspected bump. There are no quotes from “a close friend”. I think those articles are particularly cruel – as if we really believe a close friend would give such things to the media! So thank goodness for your truthful articles. My daughter has given me a subscription to this magazine for many years now and I really look forward to receiving it. It is a lovely present, and better than being given more knick-knacks – at 88 years old I have enough of those. I’m told I will be receiving a subscription again this year – wonderful!
