A pro­fu­sion of ram­bling roses

My own “green cur­tains” are the sim­plest of all. Climb­ing ice­berg roses wan­der across the per­gola out­side my study, lush in sum­mer, los­ing leaves in win­ter to let in the sun. As I write this, I’m gaz­ing at bright green leaves and 100 white flow­ers. The light is soft and pro­vides the per­fect in­spi­ra­tion for gar­dener or writer..
