Just what I needed

Australian Women’s Weekly NZ - - Your letters -

Jo Seagar’s article “Age is an attitude” in the February edition gave me a real boost on a day when I certainly needed it. Being the primary live-in carer for my 86-year-old father who has liver cancer, and my intellectually and physically disabled brother, there are days when I truly feel my “almost 60” years of age, and I often fear that my best days are behind me. I can’t help but wonder on these days if, when circumstances permit, I will have the nerve or verve to do the things I want to do. So Jo’s article was inspirational for me – it reinforced that with the right attitude, there are many more wonderful days to come. M. MICHEL
