Cream cheese frost­ing

For de­li­cious frost­ing, beat 125g each of soft­ened un­salted but­ter and cream cheese with an elec­tric mixer un­til light and fluffy. Grad­u­ally add 1½ cups of sifted ic­ing sugar and beat un­til smooth, then stir in a ta­ble­spoon of finely grated lemon rind.

My great-grand­mother used to en­ter cakes, hon­eys and jams in shows as well.
