Three generations of elegance

Australian Women’s Weekly NZ - - UPDATE -

The legendary Grace Kelly hosted the first Rose Ball in Monaco in 1954 – and to say it’s still a family affair would be an understatement. Grace’s daughter, Caroline, Princess of Hanover, wore stunning Chanel at this year’s ball (above left) and was still turning heads for all the right reasons at age 60, as she arrived on the arm of designer Karl Lagerfeld. Her daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, repurposed one of Caroline’s vintage Chanel gowns for the event. The design from the 1996 haute couture collection was covered in lace vines and paired with lengthy diamond earrings – but what else would you expect from Grace Kelly’s granddaughter?
