Too much avo
While avocado has been hailed a superfruit, loved by many throughout New Zealand, we are eating far too much of it. A recommended serve of avocado is 50g, or about quarter of a medium-sized fruit. But most people eat at least half an avocado in one serving, almost double the recommended portion. A whole avocado has around 320 calories in it and that’s before you add the millennial favourite, toast and poached egg.
