Using disinfectants, such as bleach and hydrogen peroxide, once a week can increase your risk of developing lung conditions – including chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma – by as much as 32 per cent, according to new research. The study, involving 55,000 nurses in the US, was conducted by Harvard University and the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research.
