Tauranga Society of Artists are having their annual art exhibition, with a competitive twist.

Therewill be about 300 works for display and sale with a combined awards component at the 2018 Art Expo including Trustpower Tauranga Society of Artists (TSA) Supreme Awards.

Each artist can submit five paintings to exhibit, and enter one painting into the awards for judging (by local artist Jenny Coker).

The event has been held for 14 years.

Exhibition co-ordinator Berys Suridge says theirs is the largest exhibition of local art in the Bay of Plenty.

It gives their 200 members the opportunity to display and sell theirwork, she says, and allmediums and styles will be on offer.

“The standard of work is exceptionally high, we have some excellent artists . . . the standards are high but the prices are extremely affordable.”

Beryswould like to thank their sponsors.
