Food, family, friends and fun are the ingredients for a good dinner party.

Dress for Success supporters can add fundraising to themix if they decide to hold a Dine 4 Success fundraising night.

Across the Bay of Plenty this Saturday night supporters will be hosting a dinner party with family and friends to raise funds for Dress for Success.

Dress for Success is a nonprofit organisation which assists disadvantaged women and men to achieve economic independence by providing networks of support, work attire and development tools.

“Dining on the same evening, while not all together, makes it feel like we are united in making a difference to our local community,” says Bay of Plenty president Michelle Pleydell. “Kiwis love to entertain and with spring upon us, this is a great time to shake off winter and enjoy one of the first dinner parties of the season.”

“Cuisine will be supplied by the host, while our foundation sponsor Lion will be providing thewine and beer for the occasion.”

The charity is hoping to have 300 people dining across the region this weekend. Guests will be asked to donate $50 (or more) to attend events.
