HELLA MARINE, A LEADING LED lighting manufacturer with its head office in New Zealand, supplied more than 10,000 lights for the billion dollar megaship, Ovation of the Seas.

As a result of this partnership Hella has secured contracts for the rest of the Quantum Class cruise ships built for Royal Caribbean, says Duncan Stirling, marketing manager at Hella Marine.

“The specified lighting is fully integrated, allowing for quick installation and reliable long-term performance,” he says. “Hella worked closely with the Meyer Werft shipyard throughout the project to specify the best ambient and high output solutions across a range of public areas on the vessel.”

Founded in 1925 by Hella in Lippstadt, Germany, Hella Marine is headquartered with manufacturing and R&D facilities in Auckland. Its LED navigation and high performance lighting systems are available in more than 60 countries. www.hellamarine.com
