A 12-volt water maker, with a high-pressure pump designed and built in New Zealand will be operating on General Marine Services’ stand (# 105) at the Auckland On Water Boat Show. The DC60 was developed for boats with a limited power supply. It produces 60lph for only 19 amps on a 12-volt system and could well be the world’s most efficient watermaker. The pump’s low operating RPM promotes long seal life and reliable operation. The pump self-regulates the pressure, eliminating the need for a pressure regulator when moving between fresh, brackish and saltwater.
