Beautiful bride Nicole and her dashing groom, Joe, based their wedding day around the idea of a ‘Festival of Love’ – an intimate, fun and stylish celebration that reflected them and the love they share. Nicole recounts their story…

We put our heart and soul into planning our day together, and making sure it was unique and that everyone had a wonderful experience. We included a

lot of special handmade touches to help make our day very ‘us’. These included designing the invitations, putting the favours together, making name tags, designing the tepee photo booth, and sourcing the all-important cushions, which made for some great photos!

Joe was an amazing groom who really got stuck into helping plan the wedding. He had so many great ideas, plus, being a builder and handy with DIY, he was able to bring many of our ideas to life, including making our giant outdoor games.

The first thing I purchased after we got engaged was my headpiece. I imagine not many brides would buy that before the dress, but I saw it and fell in love! It was nice to have something unique, and the boho look suited our wedding perfectly.

We found an amazing woodland forest location for our photo shoot, complete with gorgeous afternoon light, and we now love going for walks there – it holds a special place in our hearts.

We had such a magical day, and we were lucky to share it with the special people in our lives that have supported us.
