Busy autumn at the market
Although the benign weather of autumn belies it, winter is coming and already visitors to the Dannevirke Community Market have stocked up on pine cones and kindling.
The market on May 26 will again have winter supplies, not just in the fuel department but in clothing and food to keep you fed and healthy over the next few months.
Unlike 2017 there will be no break in the markets over winter at the request of the stall holders. There are lots of products being made in that time and their creators are eager to put them up for sale.
Woollen goods sell particularly well in winter, especially for children and the market is just about the only place they can be purchased.
There will of course be new stalls as well as the regulars including artworks by Judy Woods.
Joy Kopa had a whole range of flower arrangements for Mother’s Day.
