■ Norsewood/Dannevirke/ Pongaroa:

On July 19 an address on Ngapaeruru Road Dannevirke was entered and food stolen from a freezer. Late on July 21 Dannevirke Police and Fire and Emergency attended a rubbish fire behind a commercial premise on High Street.

Overnight 22-23 July a quad bike was stolen from a farm on Edgeley Road Norsewood. It was a red Suzuki, 2010 750, chassis number R407-126437 with a red tool box.

There were eight family violence incidents attended by Dannevirke Police over the last week.

A breeding ewe was shot in the Pongaroa area. It is likely someone has attempted to shoot the animal for meat or deliberately shot the animal to cause harm. Both are crimes and offenders will be held to account if identified and grounds for suitability to hold a firearms licences opposed.

Eketa¯ huna police are following up leads around recent graffiti in the town.

Woodville police are investigating the theft of a gas hot water unit from a local child care facility and the wilful damage of the electric car charging stations on the main street of town.
