Last day for police petition

Last day for residents to sign the petition demanding a return to policing in Cambridge 24/7 is today.

The petition started by business owners concerned by the alarming growth of overnight burglaries since the decision was made not to have a police presence in the town.

Organiser Susie Fez said she is amazed at the depth of feeling from other members of the community who have rallied to the call.
