Market: The Pirongia Market is on from 9am - 2pm. The arts, crafts and food market offers a wide selection of locally created and made produce. Indoor and outdoor stalls, and ample parking. Trains: Miniature train rides are happening at Leamington Domain, Wordsworth Street, from 10am - 3pm every Sunday of the month (weather permitting). Please wear closed in shoes. $2 per ride. Bowls: Family Bowls Sundays are on at the Thornton Club, 37 Thornton Rd from 2pm - 4pm. Free to play.

Speaking: The Treetown Toastmaste­rs meet every Monday at the council buildings, Wilson St, from 7.10pm. Guests are welcome, with drinks and supper provided. Dancing: Old Time and Sequence Dancing is on at 1pm - 3.30pm at the Senior Citizens Hall. Phone May on 823 1262.
