Coun­ter­punch Parkin­son’s: Fight­ing against Parkin­son’’s dis­ease. This class is held ev­ery Fri­day at 10am at The Stu­dio Com­mu­nity Health and Fit­ness. Held in the old Leam­ing­ton Bowl­ing Club build­ing, 12 Scott Street, Cam­bridge. Cost - do­na­tion.

Cam­bridge Play­cen­tre AGM 7pm at Sta­bles on Al­pha. All wel­come, RSVP to cam­bridge@play­cen­ by Sep­tem­ber 18. it is a free timed 5km run, rain or shine. Start­ing just be­low the Avan­tidrome, run along the Te Awa walk­way towards Cam­bridge for 2.5km be­fore re­turn­ing to the start line. Please reg­is­ter at be­fore­hand and print our your bar­code. Mar­ket: The Cam­bridge Farm­ers Mar­ket is on from 8am - 12pm at Vic­to­ria Square. Cam­bridge Patch­work Group, St An­drews Par­ish Hall, Hamil­ton Rd, Cam­bridge, 10am - 4pm. There will be sales ta­bles of fab­ric, books,etc and a raf­fle of two twin Snow­ball quilts. En­try fee: $5. Pro­ceeds to Parkin­son’s NZ Cam­bridge Sup­port Group.
