Held in the old Leam­ing­ton Bowl­ing Club. Com­edy: Gary McCormick and Mayor Tim Shad­bolt - Com­edy at its Best, Cambridge Race­way, Tay­lor Street, Meal 6pm, Show 7.30pm. Com­edy and story-telling about New Zealand and New Zealan­ders that will en­thrall you. Re­gatta, Mighty River Do­main, Lake Kara­piro, Maun­gatau­tari Road. All day row­ing. Meet­ing: The Ki­hik­ihi Speed­way has their open meet­ing in Te Awa­mutu, with guy fawkes start­ing at 5.45pm. Run: Park run is on at the Avan­tidrome ev­ery Satur­day at 8am. it is a free timed 5km run, rain or shine. Start­ing just be­low the Avan­tidrome, run along the Te Awa walk­way to­wards Cambridge for 2.5km be­fore re­turn­ing to the start line.
