Big band music, French Toast a great combo
Where: St Andrew’s Church, Cambridge What: Jazz and chanson music When: April 10 and April 11 What: Cambridge Autumn Festival of In the Mood Patrol.
The saxophone line was complimented with the heavy sounds from the trombone line and the trumpet players at the rear certainly made their presence felt.
Accompanying the band was a lead and bass guitarists, piano and drums.
The glamour of the night came from soloist Katie Trigg whose performance was accomplished.
Her version of George Gershwins Summertime was a standout, followed by Nat King Coles, An Orange Sky. and American
French Toast: Linn Lorkin, Hershal Herscher and Peter Scott.
