Imagine racing your favourite V8 Super Car down Bathurst’s Conrod straight at 300 km per hour!

You’re in complete control as you lean into the next bend, your hands gripping the steering wheel, your heart pounding, when all of a sudden someone nudges you from behind and you spin through the sand trap.

No worries, you’ve had worse spills and you’re not out of it yet.

It’s this kind of realism – the spectacular crashes, high speed spin outs, the bumping and rubbing of real V8 racing – that makes Auckland Luge’s unique V8 Super Car simulators the ultimate, interactive racing experience. Race up to three people at once while joining stars like Greg Murphy, Russell Ingall and Mark Skaife on the track.

Another hot attraction is the new 18-hole mini golf course, which promises to be one of the major attractions here.

Auckland Luge people are still making some minor adjustments but would love to get your feedback on how this course plays.

Located on East Coast Rd, Silverdale, just a 20minute drive from the Harbour Bridge, Auck- land Luge could easily be the most exciting adventure you’ll experience these holidays and beyond.

The star attraction is, of course, the luge itself.

A first for Auckland, the luge is a gravity thrill ride on a custom designed three wheel cart guaranteed to deliver you that adrenaline rush!

A unique feature has been added to enhance the experience - lights on the tracks to enable great ‘night riding’.

It’s a great family thrill ride for all, with younger children able to be carried in tandem with an adult.

Riders return via the Flying Carpet, a 330 metre plus uphill land travelator from Italy, which will take you over a 45 metre bridge above a luge track - a fun ride in itself.

Rising 50 metres from the base, once at the top you are ready to fly down and repeat that rush all over again choosing between the fast medium or scenic track.

Full instruction and ‘Ride Rules’ are provided prior to riding the luge by the friendly Pit Crew, who remain attentive and on hand to lend assistance.

Auckland Luge is absolutely the new hub of Hibiscus Coast’s gateway of leisure activities. Are you ready?!

They are located at 2102 East Coast Rd, Silverdale. Phone 094210165.
