The King’s College first 15 came out on top in their annual rugby battle against Auckland Grammar on Saturday, winning the match 17- 3.
That means King’s player Josh Landon can claim bragging rights over older brother Chris, who was in the Grammar team.
But proud dad Graeme Landon, whose sons featured in the Central Leader last week, says the score doesn’t reflect the way the game went.
The Epsom resident says Grammar dominated the first 20 minutes, while King’s finished off the match well, in front of an “electric” 5000-strong crowd.
Mr Landon says Chris was “very gracious” in defeat.
