It seems no one can stop Mt Al­bert in the Fox pre­lim­i­nary league se­ries.

Yet again the side dished out a hid­ing to their op­po­nents, with the East Coast Bays on the re­ceiv­ing end of a 44-6 loss on Satur­day.

And Rich­mond kept their slim hopes of a fi­nals spot alive af­ter de­feat­ing Bay Roskill 30-20. They need Pa­pakura or How­ick, who are ahead of them on the ta­ble, to drop a match in the com­ing weeks if they’re go­ing to have a hope of sneak­ing into the top eight.

In other ac­tion Pon­sonby con­tin­ued some promis­ing re­cent form with a 25-8 vic­tory over Man­gere East, while Marist drew 18-18 with How­ick.

This Satur­day Mt Al­bert visit Eller­slie at the Eller­slie Do­main, Rich­mond face Otahuhu at Grey Lynn Park, Bay Roskill lock horns with Te Atatu at Jack Colvin Park, Marist play Ma­nurewa at Murray Hal­berg Park and Pon­sonby host How­ick at Vic­to­ria Park.
