‘Have a break, have a sudoku’ feeds ACG minds

Central Leader - - News -

During term two at ACG Parnell College, students have been offered the chance to match their thinking against a sudoku puzzle during their breaks.

Sudoku is the numberplacement game that requires analytical thinking and logic, attributes that encourage the core values of the College and that enable students of today to adapt to the world of tomorrow.

Around a dozen brighteyed and enthusiastic students each week sacrifice a portion of their free time to give the puzzle a ‘go’.

A few minutes into the break time those present begin the sudoku puzzle for the day, and the race to finish is on.

A little extra tension is provided by offering a prize of movie passes to the first senior and first junior students to complete correct solutions.

Active minds: Break time is ‘make or break’ time for ACG Parnell College students as they compete over sudoku puzzles.
