The Robin Hood Foun­da­tion brings busi­nesses and projects to­gether.

Two new projects in­volve sup­port for DineAid, a con­cept that will see restau­rants ask­ing din­ers to add $2 to their bills around Christ­mas, with the money dis­trib­uted to var­i­ous groups, and Sec­ond Har­vest, a project in­volv­ing food man­u­fac­tur­ers pro­duc­ing more items for food­banks.

The Fair­fax Me­dia award for youth par­tic­i­pa­tion went to the Voda­fone Foun­da­tion’s World of Dif­fer­ence, the award for en­abling oth­ers went to AMP Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices’ schol­ar­ship pro­gramme, the part­ner­ship strength over time award went to West­pac’s res­cue he­li­copter, the More FM health part­ner­ship to the Na­tional Bank and Can­cer So­ci­ety’s Daf­fodil Day, and the Royal NZ Air Force’s part­ner­ship with Child, Youth and Fam­ily won an in­no­va­tive so­lu­tions award.

The Voda­fone Foun­da­tion was also named The Prime Min­is­ter’s So­cial Hero.
