Chaos for a cause
A concert of classical chaos will raise money for the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind.
The New Zealand Friendly Orchestra will play popular favourites at St Matthew-in-the-City this Saturday. They will be played by a mixture of amateurs and professionals with hilarious results, says organiser Matthew Crawford.
Chief performer will be Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra principal tuba player Jonathan Baker, who takes the lead violinist seat for the evening.
The concert starts at 8pm and a suggested donation of $15 goes to the charity.
