Young­ster Mi­los Nikolic picked up a dou­ble, while mid-fielder Luiz Del Monte and vet­eran striker Grant Young also found them­selves on the score sheet.

That puts the reign­ing champs just two points be­hind lead­ers East­ern Sub­urbs af­ter they drew 1-1 with Meville United.

Cen­tral also have three games to make up thanks to Chatham Cup com­mit­ments and a game called off be­cause of an un­playable pitch.

Metro sent Three Kings United one step closer to rel­e­ga­tion with a 6-1 win, in­clud­ing three goals to for­mer A-League player Sean Devine.

Bay Olympic came away with a 1-0 win over Tau­ranga United, while Mt Al­bert-Pon­sonby drew 3-3 with Pa­p­a­toe­toe. Lynn Avon had a 3-2 win over Hamil­ton Wan­der­ers.

In first di­vi­sion West­ern Springs lost out to Ngaru­awahia United 2-1 and One­hunga Man­gere were thumped 5-1 by Waiuku.
