A shoe auction has raised more than $5000 for the YMCA’s future leaders programme.
Women at the event bid on 10 pairs of Kathryn Wilson shoes, donated by the designer.
The main prize, a session designing a personalised shoe with Kathryn Wilson, sold for $2200.
YWCA marketing manager Nikki Draper says the night was “just fantastic” with more than 100 people attending.
The YWCA’s Future Leaders programme sees young women in their teens paired with a successful woman mentors who guide and encourage them over a five-year period..
