Central Leader - - News -

Sleighbells are ringing early this year as preparations for the 75th anniversary Farmers Santa Parade get under way.

Volunteers are needed to help with the parade, which has been running since 1934.

This year’s event promises to be the biggest, brightest and boldest one yet as Santa makes his way through the city on November 30.

Organiser Pam Glaser says they are looking for funloving volunteers to help out with the parade and behind the scenes.

Volunteers must be aged over 18 and willing to help as marshalls, banner carriers, costume minders and more.

People of all ages are also needed to be part of the parade and dress in fantasy costume.

To volunteer or for information call 358-2395.
