Funny Guy at Mt Smart

Central Leader - - News -

If you fancy seeing a 110kg athlete pat his shoe because he thinks it’s a puppy, hypnotism is for you.

Las Vegas showman Guy Cater is hosting his show at Mt Smart Stadium’s eastern stand members’ lounge on Tuesday, September 9, at 7.30pm, with members of the Vodafone Warriors.

The comedian has just returned from a United States tour and regularly performs around the world.

Cater differs from many show hypnotists because his subjects are never demeaned or belittled. “If people didn’t get up and volunteer to take part you would have no show,” he says.

“My subjects enjoy themselves so much they will often volunteer again.”

He did a similar show last year where rampaging winger Manu Vatuvei’s affection for his dog stole the night – or would have had people not been so busy laughing at Ruben Wiki as James Bond.

Tickets are $25 from any Mad Butcher store.
