Book of records is up for grabs
If you’ve ever wondered how many candles can be blown out in one breath or how many snails fit on someone’s face, the answers are at hand with the release of the 2009 edition of Guinness World Records.
Beloved by children and adults for more than 50 years, the book is renowned for its recordbreaking attempts and feats.
Those looking for the wacky, weird and bizarre will not be disappointed, New Zealand has its own resident record breaker – Alastair Galpin – who holds more than 20 records.
To celebrate the launch of the 2009 edition the Central Leader is offering four lucky readers the chance to win a copy.
To enter the draw to win a copy email edcl@ snl.co.nz with Guinness in the subject line with your name, address and daytime phone number.
Entries must be received by noon on Friday, November 28.
On the record: The Central Leader is offering readers the chance to win themselves a copy of the latest edition of Guinness World Records.
