Three semifinalists found
West End, Blockhouse Bay and Pompallier are all through to the semifinals of the Caro Bowl mens interclub tennis competition following the final found robin matches on Friday.
Parnell finished top of the table on 48 points, with West End four points behind on 44 and Pompallier and Blockhouse Bay tied on 32.
A countback on points is still to confirm who is third and fourth between Pompallier and Blockhouse Bay.
West End managed to nab the second place spot after a countback victory over Pompallier.
West End’s Adam Thompson won the top singles for West End over Robbie Cheyne in straight sets, while Pompallier’s James Shortall and Adam McNeill won their ties.
In the women’s competition, Parnell beat Pompallier 6-0, Glendowie went down to Mangere Combined 5-1 and Royal Oak secured a victory over Remuera 6-2.
