In­de­cent acts land man in court

A man has been ar­rested af­ter pupils wit­nessed in­de­cent acts in Royal Oak.

The 31-year-old ma­chine op­er­a­tor from Man­gere was orig­i­nally charged with three counts of per­form­ing an in­de­cent act in pub­lic.

One charge re­lates to an of- fence in Man­gere last Septem­ber and the other two are for in­ci­dents on Fe­bru­ary 10 and 11, where the acts were per­formed in front of Royal Oak In­ter­me­di­ate stu­dents.

How­ever, po­lice dis­cov­ered he com­mit­ted an­other in­de­cent act, also on Fe­bru­ary 11, in front of an eight-year-old in Royal Oak.

He pleaded guilty to the first three of­fences and will be sen­tenced on March 25 in the Auck­land District Court.

He ap­peared in court again yes­ter­day on the fourth charge.
