Stepchildren needed for psychology study
Young adults with stepmothers are being sought by an Auckland University researcher.
Penny Mansell is studying the relationships between stepmothers and stepchildren for a doctorate in clinical psychology.
She seeks people aged be- tween 18 and 25 who lived with their father and stepmother for a significant part of their childhood.
The volunteers will be interviewed for one-and-a-half to two hours and their identity will be protected.
Ms Mansell will ask participants about their relationship with their stepmother and what they found difficult as well as helpful about it. To take part in the study contact Ms Mansell on 373-7599 ext 84990 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
