Applications open for heritage festival events
It’s time for heritage buffs to unite and get their ideas ready for the Auckland Heritage Festival.
Applications are open for local groups and organisations to submit events for consideration for this year’s festival, which runs from September 19 to October 4.
Last year’s popular events ranged from guided heritage walks and open days to tours of historic sites, vintage fashion displays and heritage market days.
The city council-run festival aims to encourage Aucklanders to celebrate the city’s heritage.

Applications close on May 30.
