Top Kids: A sanctuary for your child’s development

Central Leader - - News -

If you are in the habit of worrying all day after leaving your child at day care, then it’s time to kiss those worries good bye.

A home away from home, Top Kids in Eden Terrace is a unique sanctuary for your child’s development. Located minutes from the CBD and transport hubs, it is a complete development centre where children are prepared for life as well as for school.

With five separate centres - for different age groups - it offers a warm, safe and caring atmosphere that accommodates essential elements like design, sheltered open spaces and loads of natural light.

Importantly, the centre has become an integral part of the local community, serving diverse and multi-cultural families.

Complex manager Jeanette Manu and her team bring a fresh new approach to the industry.

“Our experienced and qualified teachers are employed for their personal qualities and high standard of training in early childhood education and care,” she says.

The programme is based on modern early childhood curriculum, Te Whariki. Children learn to develop great relationships with other children and the teachers, understanding how to communicate and share their thoughts and feelings.

“We aim to provide appropriate programming in a challenging and supportive environment that is welcoming and inviting,” says Jeanette. “Children have the opportunity to develop their early literacy and social skills, which arm them with the basics before starting school.”

Children enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. For instance, the music/movement programme is excellent for promoting fitness and health.

Each child has their own portfolio, in which the teachers document their learning progress, interests and achievements.

What’s more, meals are healthy, nutritious and are prepared by a very experienced cook, in consultation with families. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.

You can take advantage of a sibling discount, the government ECE subsidy, WINZ subsidies and holiday discounts.

The centre is located on Virginia Ave East, with plenty of free parking for easy drop-off and pick-up.

So there, would you settle for anything less for your little one?
