Bud­ding au­thors need to get in fast to en­ter the 2009 Ash­ton Wylie Char­i­ta­ble Trust Un­pub­lished Man­u­script Award.

En­tries close on March 31 and un­pub­lished manuscripts be­tween 20,000 and 100,000 words re­lat­ing to the mind, body and spirit are el­i­gi­ble.

Au­thors must be New Zealand res­i­dents.

The win­ner gets $10,000. As well as the Un­pub­lished Man­u­script Award, the char­i­ta­ble trust of­fers an­other $10,000 award for pub­lished books.

Judges in­clude Pathfinder Book­shop founder Jen­nifer Ed­ding­ton, au­thor and ed­i­tor Stephen Strat­ford, au­thor Richard Web­ster and Ash­ton Wylie Char­i­ta­ble Trust trus­tee Ado­nia Wylie.
