Showtime at showgrounds
The country comes to town at this year’s Royal Easter Show with fun for all the family.
Packed full of entertainment including live shows, interactive activities and carnival rides, the annual event is promising a line-up that will appeal to everyone.
The show, which started as an agricultural event to support New Zealand’s farming economy in 1843, has become a family event that now attracts over 80,000 people.
Royal Easter Show spokesperson John Robertson advises visitors to arrive early to avoid the crowds.
“Programmes are available from the information kiosk with show times, a full schedule with map and everything else you need to know.”
The Royal Easter Show is on from tomorrow until Monday at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane.
Family passes are $38, adults are $18, senior citizens and students $12, children $6 and under-twos are free.
